About Us

The Weyers – Reputation Group is an internationally leading company in the production, marketing, and logistics of fresh fruits and vegetables, with branches in Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. Our products are found in major retail chains and specialty stores. With three of our own transport companies, we have been a reliable partner for years. As internationalization continues and the demand for speed, quality assurance, and reliable supply chains rises, we are expanding our operational and logistical structures. To strengthen this development, we are creating a senior leadership role that will take full end-to-end responsibility for logistics and supply chain operations.

As Head of Supply Chain & Logistics, you will shape the future of logistics within our group. You will ensure operational excellence in day-to-day business and build structures that enable sustainable growth, internationalization, and quality.

Your Tasks

  • Strategic overall responsibility for the entire logistics network: international sourcing, transportation, transshipment, warehouse logistics, order picking, and distribution
  •  Development of a resilient international supplier network in the producer and agricultural environment, including evaluation, contract management, and performance indicators
  • Building a network architecture with clear scheduling, defined process standards, transparent interfaces, and reliable control parameters
  • Introduction of a central control tower for real-time management of goods flows, routes, capacity, and transit times
  • Building scalable logistics structures: warehouse locations, cross-docking, regional hubs, consolidated transport routes
  • Digitization and automation of core logistics processes
  • Responsibility for quality, food safety, and auditability according to EU standards in cooperation with our quality managers
  • Operational excellence through process optimization, automation initiatives, and digitization along the supply chain
  • Ensuring high delivery capability and reliable forecasting
  • Leading strategic transformation projects to modernize operational infrastructure
  • Leading and developing a high-performing logistics and dispatch team at multiple operational levels, with transport managers at each site and over 100 truck drivers

Your Profile

  • Over 6 years of leadership experience in supply chain or logistics management – ideally in the fresh produce sector, food retail, agricultural trade, or comparable temperature- and qualitysensitive industries
  • In-depth understanding of international trade and supply chain structures, particularly in collaboration with agricultural producers
  • Sound knowledge of quality management, food safety, and EU regulations
  • Expertise in building and operating international logistics networks, scheduling models, and quality-assured transport chains
  • Proven track record in building scalable processes, teams, and structures
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills as well as a hands-on mentality that works in day-to-day operations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management in international logistics and transport environments
  • Entrepreneurial drive and high result orientation
  • Very good German and English language skills; Dutch is a plus
  • Willingness to travel

Our Offer

  • A key role with direct reporting to the executive management and high strategic relevance
  • Influence on the future direction of an established, growth-oriented international trading group
  • High degree of freedom to further develop operational systems, structures, and transport networks
  • A respectful working environment with short decision-making processes and genuine ownership
  • A competitive base salary plus vacation pay
  • Opportunity to participate in a bonus program based on achieved results
  • Company car, mobile phone, and laptop
  • Benefit program similar to Job Rad
